Burson Conductor SL just arrived, with upgraded USB module and added pre-amp outputs.
burn-in in progress:
initial impression:
clarity is top notch, warm, very musical, tamed the notorious highs of the Hifiman, overall the best desktop DAC-Amp i have ever heard so far. i think im gonna stick with this for a very long time, perhaps till maguba na hehe. simply outstanding.

hurot na ako budget master haha next year nasad. but yea, i think HE-6 is the cheapest of all the flagships out there other than the Alpha Prime, it will prob get cheaper next yr when Hifiman releases their new flagship HE-7 Originally Posted by at_sunset_blvd

Fiio X5 or Ibasso DX90?
Which one is better and why?

X5 is cheaper, DX90 has better UI, both uses flagship DACs, sound quality both have pros and cons, but both are on the neutral side (which is expected from DAPs). if you can afford the DX90, go for it. if not, the X5 is already very good. if you ask me it doesn't really matter, for me DAPs best serves as just a transport, as long as it has a very good internal DAC and be able to decode most high-res formats and sample rates, its good enough for me, but you'd probably still wanna stack another portable amp over it. Guys updated & working, FINALLY!
Finally done w/ my first vintage restoration although not perfect power meter lights not working. A vintage starters MARANTZ 2216 / MARANTZ CM635 paired w/ my old B&W DM600 s3 & I just can't believe my ears w/c such small speakers could fill up our living room w/ great clarity, detail & most of all the bass is incredible from such tiny bookshelves feels like a SUB is around (it must be from the receiver).
I'm all smiles right now ;D
