i'm not saying the frat leaders follow chris to the grave. but in china, the manufacturer of the recalled Mattel toys committed suicide. *think*
I think were walking in circles here.

Hazing is not only present in fraternities and sororities, it is a commonplace in the PMA as what I've heard in the grapevine...

then why not abolish the PMA as well? or do we have to wait until there's a sensational death due to hazing in the said institution?

    so my question is:

where's the consistency in all these?

    1. there is definitely HAZING going on (physical at that) in many of these so-called elite fraternities and leaders/members don't want to own up to this mess. What have they done to their so-called napalpak na initiation process? tell me!
I cant speak in behalf because base on experience from my FRAT , we havent experience that kind of ORDEAL of fatalities in the INITIATION PROCESS .

    2. When something goes wrong, going as far as murder, these fratmen WILL NOT clean up their own backyard. brothers in crime eh? elite fraternities huh?
What are your basis for these accusations and claims ?

springfield, basig ang word ug concept nga "fraternity" ang na abuso na karon. it started as something noble and elite, karon walay ka repu-reputation. sorry, but free-thinking individuals cannot be blinded by its flaws.
FREETHINKING or CLOSEMINDED ? Open your mind , you dont have to be an ally , a friend , a member , a sympathizer etc . All yoiu have to do is be more SMART in approaching things that you learn not from what you hear .

remember the context of our discussion here is the recent death of Chris Mendez. now if you'll say you have nothing to say regarding guilty fraternities, then you are not the person i should be talking to, correct?

i want to hear something about accountability. you can talk so much about the values of fraternities...well reserve them for another discussion coz at hand is this issue of death caused by hazing (AGAIN!).

okay so you want to talk about open-mindedness? tell me about accountability. what will these fraternities do in relation to the harm caused by hazing. tell me. and no, don't pass it to the authorities ha. that's HARDLY being accountable.

The one who initiate the hazing should held liable of what had happend but don't blame the whole organization.

Should we abolish fraternities and sororities? NO.

If we say yes to that, it's just like were saying we should stop using motorcycle.

I can partly say something because being a FRATMAN but personal business of whats going on in SIGMA RHO , their approach , their strategies , their moves , their actions etc in their everyday life as a FRATMAN and a FRATERNITY is the OUT of CONTEXT on my behalf because I am not a RHOSIGS .

No the issue here is the ABOLITION of FRATS and SOR , spice lang na sa UP and si CRIS ( RIP ) ... the MAIN INGREDIENT here is the existence of FRATERNITIES and SORORITIES .. So any fratman or sorman can answer that kwestyon .

i want to hear something about accountability. you can talk so much about the values of fraternities...well reserve them for another discussion coz at hand is this issue of death caused by hazing (AGAIN!).
Talk about ACCOUNTABILITY eh ? I pardon na man lang gani na ang KILLERS ni NINOY AQUINO kay wala gyud ma prove ang pagka guilty nila much more kung sila ba gyud ang guilty party . Much more sa issue na aspiring na FRATMAN who died ( RIP ) who is in part to be blamed on . Heard of SIGNING A WAIVER ? Naa man gani WAIVER ang AKRHO , mga ELITE LAW FRATS na ba nuon .

okay so you want to talk about open-mindedness? tell me about accountability. what will these fraternities do in relation to the harm caused by hazing. tell me. and no, don't pass it to the authorities ha. that's HARDLY being accountable.
    - FRATERNITIES planned , implemented and officially made an alternative of HAZING . Not all agreed but they have to and some embraced it already .

    - FRATMEN who still engages in HAZING vilated a code of the FRATERNITY . How does the FRAT know about it ? Kung naay namatay na . Then pass it on sa local authorities so it can be investigated sa cause sa death . That is ACCOUNTABILITY , FRATMEN are not AUTHORITIES , INVESTIGATORS , DOCTORS etc . Kung kana patay na lawas gi chop chop , sulod sako or gi sunog ... that is HARDLY ACCOUNTABILITY !

    - Locating the GUILTY PARTY is needed thru the COOPERATION of the AUTHOITIES and the FRATERNITY to the best of their KNOWLEDGE . Ug ni tago or ni sibat gyud diay ang killer , unsay mabuhat sa FRAT ? Mo ingon dayon mo gi taguan namo ? Mo ingon dayon mo na gi protektahan namo ? Let the police do their job and we'll do ours . Thats being ACCOUNTABLE for all actions that was done .

These THREAD should be going to where ABOLITION of FRATERNITIES stand and execution of the cause of MIRIAM SANTIAGO will justified where everyone will agree on . Not on ACCOUNTABILITY and RESPONSIBILITY thru the expense of OGK ... ONLY GOD KNOWS .

^isn't that what the previous 3 pages contain already?

let's see to what extent the fraternities have done regarding accountability. coz remember, the context is HAZING DEATHs. now if there's close to nothing, perhaps my next suggestion is to debate Meriam Santiago

Who in the SANE mind would love to exchange IDEAS with an INSANE much more if the topic is really a NONSENSE ISSUE just being brought up to make if not headlines , to stir issues due to personal and proffessional matters ?

    Your question should be :

let's see to what extent SIGMA RHO have done regarding accountability.
