but let me tell you anyway - a real backup requires root. even adb backup on non-rooted dili na full.
the best backup w/o loss of data failure as it's a backup of everything is the nandroid backup. pero boy sweto to make a nandroid backup last time I check ( maayo man kha ka correct me on this one)
requires a rooted device.

granted, ang TS managed to make backup (or stock rom) prior to rooting w/ Holo or helium or whatever backing
tools for non-rooted phones (dili nalng nako e-mention nga greater risk compared to nandroid on data failure using those method) balik nasad sya stock unrooted then root nasad? my gad!

ADB procedure

download Android SDK Tools

1. copy CMD.exe (search sa imo PC) and vold.fstab to C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools o dba C:\Program Files (x86)\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools




2. run CMD.exe as administrator

3. type adb root

4. adb remount

5. adb push vold.fstab /system

6. adb reboot

enable USB debugging
stock rom man ka so
then instead of adb root - adb shell then su
instead of adb remount - mount -o remount,rw /system then exit
adb push vold.fstab /system(depende sa directory)
adb reboot

note - push the unmodified vold.fstab kay obviously you tried to do a memory swap after rooting w/ a modified vold.fstab

so basically, imo ra ibalik ang stock vold.fstab. since dili mabalik thru root explorer, push thru ADB.

and since naa man lain paagi pm him.
God forbid, don't restore backup just yet.
