if you want, you can try kayaking at Sumilon Island... no rent for the equipment involved, its one of the perks they offer on the island
mahal naman kaau ang sumilon krn, love2travel..sauna katong wala pa nay resort diha kay ayos kaau jud... inyo gyud ang whole island ba...karon morag wa na may lami, sa ako lang opinion..pero ang island itself kay pyter jud...![]()

@Mcmurills: you're right, before entrance to the island was P10 or thereabouts, nowadays, daytrip is P1200 but that's inclusive of pumpboat transfer, lunch and free use of pool, snorkeling equipment and kayak... (sa ubang resort imo pa man sab na i-rent)...
the underwater view is still great (filled with corals and marine life, after all it's still a marine sanctuary) but the exclusivity of it excludes most of the people who used to enjoy the island as a picnic ground/ weekend beach getaway...
for those of you who are intersted to go kayaking, i know of someone who may be willing to rent out his ocean kayak... (if you want, i'll ask for his rates)
