In Order to Understand the BIBLE, you NEED to have FAITH in God first. You need to Believe that whats on it are inspired by God. You take it as a WHOLE THEN it will flow accordingly and you dont need to establish guidelines how to identify which is which. BECAUSE the BIBLE can explain itself.

The confusion starts when you dont FULLY believed that there is GOD and the Bible is inspired by him. So if You dont believe that God can Resurrect dead people, if you dont believe on any Miracles in the Bible because it cannot be explained by Science - THEN its very Difficult to Tell which is metaphor and which is Literal.

God exists...If you believe that He doesn't..Try explaining the word "UNIVERSE". UNA = ONE, VERSE = a spoken statement. In the book of Genesis, it says, "And God said, "LET THERE BE LIGHT"..ONE STATEMENT. Therefore, He exists.
