I'm not going to deny that some stuff on the ad are true. The Philippines does indeed have the worse government right now. Recently, Japanese carmakers are looking for a way out of the Philippines because of the lack of government support. Foreign investments fell steeply under the current administration. We can't deny that.

Aegis ad is very unethical. What does have a weather and natural calamities has to do with business anyway? Japan has earthquakes but foreign investments still booming as ever. It's always raining in Portland but Nike never thought about pulling out. How about the tech industry in Silicon Valley (California), they get earthquakes and wildfires, not one ever thought of leaving cuz it hugely affected their business. Here in Canada, we get TERRIBLE snowstorms and last year we had the polar vortex, but that didn't stop Burger King converting to a Canadian-based company. People still want to go to work despite of a bad weather outside. There are people having no choice to stay home cuz the snow barricaded their door and they can't get out. It's not like it happens all year long anyways.

What Filipinos can do is to pressure the government to transform this country to a foreign investment-friendly. Vote for someone who's not closely associated with the oligarch.

I'm not affected by this phony ad. Our BPO investments quadrupled in the last 15 years, and it's not slowing down.

Years ago, there was this great American Company ---> People Support, where thousands of applicants flocked it's lobbies to apply. Benefits were great, working environment was awesome, pay was good. Now, everything is spiralling down. Can't figure out how Aegis ruined it.

Positively, this is just a challenge on our part, what we have to do is to prove them wrong.
Well Aegis is not the only company around, we will just make our environment here in the Philippines more investor friendly and I'm sure so more would still come.

Sa kana nga Aegis ad, what i see is :

Ni-Admit ang Malaysia ang gi-trash sila sa mga investors despite the fact nga better kunuhay sila !!!

It's pretty clear, this ad says nalupigan sila sa Philippines. Maong ingon-ani ilang campaign.

For me there's truth regarding some issues raised. There's a need to correct the problems. The country is on the verge of loosing investments.

For me better take it as constructive criticism and stop being bitter about it. We'll see how our leaders will handle problems like these.
