If this is true then it's a bad way to market their company. The ad could have still made its point without referring to or denigrating Philippines.

On the flip side, some of the things pointed out in that ad are true. The thing though is we can do something about it. Instead of concentrating our efforts on that ad or trying to get even against Aegis Malaysia (which won't make us any better), how about we start with ourselves in contributing to our country and at the same time not be passive against the inefficiencies of our own government. We must demand our government to make things run better in our country.

We can't really stop natural calamities but we can do better to prepare ourselves for that. Just look at Japan.

Some of the negative things pointed out in that ad are true such as the problem with bureaucracy. How else would you explain why it's almost a year after Yolanda, the funds have not yet been fully distributed to the victims?

So instead of just taking offense on that ad, maybe it would be better to prove them wrong by actually doing something to make our country better?

Pero ambot na lang, knowing our politicians, morag sakyan ra siguro ni nila ang backlash to make themselves look better sa mga voters instead of actually having a concrete solution to our own problems in this country. Tingalig kutob ra ni sila maghimo-himo og mga persona non grata resolutions.

duda ko internal presentation material ra na to justify some executive's "business case" to move operations to MY from PH... ni leak lang siguro... i don't think Aegis will release that kind of material publicly...

but, there is some twist of truth...

For me there's truth regarding some issues raised. There's a need to correct the problems. The country is on the verge of loosing investments.

For me better take it as constructive criticism and stop being bitter about it. We'll see how our leaders will handle problems like these.
