Bill Russell was named the greatest player in 1980.... yep his accomplishements were amazing.. too bad wa pay defensive player of the year ato panahona.. he could have won 8 or 10 defensive player of the year honors..

he also won multiple MVP's

its really shocking to see Wilt only has 1 ring knowing he once ave. 50 pts per game in a season.. and undoubtedly the greatest scorer ever and the most dominant player of all time...

plus he got jerry west ... but they failed over and over again to the celts...

yeah but you also need great scorers to win.. like for example the new york knicks.. they were the best defensive team in the 90's even better than the bulls...

unfortunately the bulls were an excellent defensive team next to the knicks. but they got a scoring machine "Michael Jordan"

because MJ's legacy is his own legacy, so kinahanglan others should also build on their own legacy than just be like Mike..

and yes you also need good scorers to win basketball games, but defense makes winning a lot easier..after all you still have to put points across the board to win
