on paper, the Spurs are a good team loaded in all positions and a deep bench too, cant say the same for the Lakers...but yes, I like how Tim keeps his team together, the kind of respect that reminds you of MJ, he is laid back but man, he lets his game speak for himself

give the spurs management some credit as well. The management encourages their players to live near with each other....most of them are neighbors. Tim and Pop houses are very close..most them have "bar-b-cue" parties etc. so they have bonding all the time...

of course, cant take anything away from management, after all dako kaayo impact ang management when it comes to the make up of the team and the character they communicate

I think Tim Duncan Should be the exact Heir to Michael Jordan. nobody's putting solid numbers than him.. he is solid as a "Rock"...

no question about his leadership, is difinitely equal to MJ, the way he motivates his teamates.. he may not be a scoring machine, but during crunch time he's a beast.

naa lang siyay weakness..... banga a free throw tawhana oy basta naa sa ilang homecourt. hehehe

ang naka deperensya lang gyud ang iya position. lahi siya og style ni Jordan. he plays power forward, while Mj's a shooting guard.

I'll say it again, Tim will leave a legacy that he can call his own, there's no point for him trying to emulate MJ, although MJ can be an inspiration

I feel sorry for the Lakers, kobe must work hard, even double his effort para ma influence niya iya teamates...... nahimo man gani ni Jordan. how come di niya mahimo.

remember jordan started also like him today. but look how pippen improve all those years. he was even named one of the 50 greatest players of all time... knowing he started out as mediocre along with Horace Grant...

what if Horace Grant didn't leave the bulls.. I think he would have been also be in that list.. so grabe gyud ang impact ni MJ making mediocre players into Great ones..

its really all up to kobe, and I'm counting on him right now.. give them 2 or 3 years, basta dili lang ilisdan ang line up, I'm sure makahimo nana sila og chemistry..

take for example the cleveland cavaliers. when lebron arrived, their win loss record has improved and even went to the NBA finals... ayaw ninyo ingna nga tungpd napud na sa management.... di na sa management tanan...

remember the Blazers were a powerhouse team, pero naka ring ba sila ? katong line up nila sa 1999 - 2000. heck that was even better that the lakers line - up and eventually the NBA champs.. ngano ni fumble ang Portland. simple the lakers had the better chemistry.

I remember kobe on that horrible game 7 against the suns, I dont understand why he stop shooting, he was great in the first half, but I think he only have 1 attempt in the second.. I'm a phoenix fan, pero bati tan awon ang duwa..

no kobe show.. he should have taken it over.. instead gi blow out sila. this year naay silay excuse kay injury prone sila so klaro gyud kaayo wa silay bawt.

have you notice they have similarities

Both Tim and MJ are winning mulitiple reg. season MVP's and finals MVP's as well as championships.. multiple all defensive frist team, all NBA first team..

though sa scoring wala gyud si Tim. but that comparison alone is something .

Im not saying that he should be the heir, but his accomplishments are near to what MJ has..

why don't we compare Tim and MJ to Bill Russell..try compare to achievements.. hehehe.
Bill didn't have any superstar around him... now theirs one nba legend.

Bill Russell, he was not as flashy as Bill Walton who scored 100 points in one game but he won more championship rings..what mattered to him was that his team won championships
