Nice source Sir @yawertzra! Wikipedia : the most EDITABLE website in the world.

Bitaw Sir ui, it's all up to you jud.
If it was me, kung fresh and latest Pinoy idea of earning passive income ang panagsultihan, one should go for MF, Stocks, TD - those that you stated as portfolio types.

I want to borrow one of the most famous lines from the agents here : Make money work for you. - mao na ang passive income.

Nganong mao ni ang LATEST Pinoy idea?
Simple lang, the Pinoys are starting to get education naman about this. Slow lang jud noon but learning. Ang mga bag-ong tubo, naa na'y nakat-unan based on the very old notion of earning and saving money.

Just GO for it Sir! Ang importante, mo-earn ka.

sometimes, mu da ug libog jud ni ang definition sa wikepedia, dictionary, etc. hehehe Most sa ako na basa nga financial books is ang stocks is a passive income. Then here comes a definition from wikepedia, not a form of passive income daw.

ang next effort ana will be withdrawals na
but then again, imo naman na gipang - "x" sa lista.

i am about to suggest nga kaning website-website by way of content locker is a better passive income. mag-setup ka kausa, imo i-promote to get a higher search ranking, og after manindot ang imong standing, pwede na nimo pasagdan. mo-earn ra na siya'g iyaha.

tinood jud nga sa first ra ka mo-exert og effort and you earn.
but your chances of earning more & more pa jud is there kung dili nimo i-limit ang imong effort.
Yes, but even the most successful websites needs active content para dili mo downhilla and viewers.

It also doesn't require huge amount of money but rather discipline.
Daghan kaayo ordinary lang nga tao ang gainvest sa mutual funds but they do it on a regular basis. They allocate P1T or P2T a month for their mutual fund investment. Give it 5 years, dako na na.
Discipline is more important than the amount.

Sorry, I hope you won't feel offended but if you want to earn a lot from small capital, dapat ready ka moexert ug max effort in order to earn a lot. It's either dako imong capital or dako imong effort nga iexert in order to make your business get big. Daghan kaayo ug rags to riches story and the common denominator are hard and smart work. If gamay imong capital then gamay pud ang effort, don't expect for your business to prosper. Di na pwede buwagon ang hard and smart if you want to prosper.

Most of the things that you mentioned (equipment rental, properties, etc.) all require huge amounts of capital. The effort required in running your business is also not small.

If you are soliciting suggestions, mao ni akong masulti: Focus on developing that habit of saving and veer away from a "get rich quick" mentality. All the good things in life are earned, dili daling kuhaon or iachieve. And besides, that "get rich quick" mentality is the very reason why daghan kaayo mga Pinoy ang mahulog sa mga scams or daling mailad. Once you have that discipline and could delay gratification and with the right knowledge, mas dali na padak-on imong kwarta.
Kani gyud o. Mao gyud ni. DELAYED GRATIFICATION. Kasagaran wala nay PATIENCE. Tanan ganahan INSTANT.

Ang this weakness of INSTANTness in our minds are actually being capitalized by some.
Awa gud na ang CANDY CRUSH. Opps, Sorry. NO MORE LIVES. Huwat sa ka ug 9 hours (PATIENCE) or PALIT NALNG UG HEARTS OI! 50 PESOS RA EACH LIFE! PARA KADUWA DAYUN KA! (INSTANT)

If you're the kind of person nga ma fall aning nga scheme sa mga Freemium F2P Games like Candy Crush ug Clash of Clans... Then I have bad news for you...

    Except investment/Mutual funds ideas!

They are categorized as portfolio income!
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Wikipedia:

Passive income is an income received on a regular basis, with little effort required to maintain it. It is closely related to the concept of "unearned income".

The American Internal Revenue Service categorizes income into three broad types, active (earned) income, passive (unearned) income, and portfolio income. It defines passive income as only coming from two sources: rental activity or "trade or business activities in which you do not materially participate." Other financial and government institutions also recognize it as an income obtained as a result of capital growth or in relation to negative gearing. Passive income is usually taxable.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Meaning pwde kanang Trade/Mutual Funds
But I'm asking other than that!

Because Mutual Funds takes time!...Yes pwde ka 5,000 sugod...pero it would take years
to enjoy your income! Unlike sa rentals nga ang duration mu vary sa customer not time.

I'm emphasizing a fast way to earn passive income.
    According to wikipedia...mao ni sila..

1.) Any type of property income

    2.) Rent from property

3.) Interest from a bank account

4.) Royalties from publishing a book or from licensing a patent or other form of intellectual property, such as computer software product

5.) Earnings from internet advertisements on websites

6.) Dividend and interest income from owning securities, such as stocks and bonds, is usually referred to as portfolio income, which may or may not be considered a form of passive income.

    6.) Pensions.

o gilista na nko from wikipedia
Naa pa ba lain nga idea ninyo!

    I mean fresh ideas...Pinoy style?
    Thanks.
    Thumbs up ko ani...very good!
    naapay lain?

You are talking about "blogs" and "content websites" Sir.
    And your statement is correct.

PERO lang, I was stressing on websites w/ content lockers. Kani nga types, imo ra i-setup for about 30 minutes or less. Automate promotion & the rest. Sit back and earn. Dont you call this a passive way of earning? Im into this karon trying to earn a decent passive income.

Anyway, there is no point commenting here.

Anybody can stick to the anybody's way of earning. It's all up to you folks. Some people choose and stick to old-school ideas, some people choose & take risk on new ideas (asked by TS), some people go for what is "in" karon.

    Sige, ayo-ayo mo diha.

A bit OT: Instant gratification is wired in our brain by default. Another, we always want constant action. We don't have patience; we always want to see the result right away for the little effort we have done. Case in point: trading in stocks (no offense intended). Another is MLM (again, no offense intended). And these are the trends today. Even in our spending habit, we want to acquire the latest gadgets through credit. We don't want to save to buy it in full cash because we have this urge that keeps telling us not to be left out with what's the latest (herd mentality). So the bottom line is it's all about human behavior. Unless we are willing to exert an effort to break our default behaviors, then I guess we should not expect an above-average performance. Most of us have who have mediocre performance have done opposite to what the elite few are doing where they build their fortunes from scratch through hard work.

If I may add, if we look at the reality with objectivity, we will find out that most of those who have made it successfully have contrarian views or what I prefer to call as UNCONVENTIONAL thinking. Warren B. who is famous in value investing (opposite to trading), Bill Gates who is focused to Windows OS (opposite to diversification) and in our local front, we have Henry Sy the mall tycoon. But why is it that success is very ELUSIVE to most of us. I guess it's all because we're not strong enough to break the chain that binds us from our default behaviors.

kuyawan man ta anang dakog kita, pero gamay rag i invest?

    income".
