Any of the fund that tracks the Philippine index. The reason being is that, of the funds that I've been monitoring (both mutual funds and UITF) only a handful have beaten the index on a relative basis.

kasabut ra ko sa monthly ug ok ra au nko labi na mo ingon ka'g mas ma appreciate nko ang mutual funds if mag fund monthly...lol but how much man na normally? mo demand cla sa amount? or kita ra magbuot? Ako jud unta plan is mo invest for 5 years or more but since d pa au ko sweto ani 2-5yrs. lng sa ako i-check sa form if ok ang dagan dha nko mo dugay. 33 na ako edad, kay ako man gd naa ko sa gawas so plano nko ako lng mama ang mo fill-up nya beneficiary lng ko but if mo matter ni sa edad, ako nlng name ako ipa register.

Kay lisud au rng panahona, utangan ta sa atu kaila unya d jud magparamdam, i-block pa ta sa fb...haha...DMD! may pa'g i-invest naa pa chance mo tubo.

arclops: low-cost index fund? no knowledge jud ko ani. Thanks sa idea.

Bro, kita ra man diay edara. Yup, kita ray mag buot but naay minimum amount if mag dugang ka which is P1k. I suggest kung kaya pa nimo more than ana nga amount, much better. Kung dako imo capital, dako jud ka ug profit. Example, kung nag invest ka ug P1M atong Jan 1, 2014, ni tubo na imo money ug P238,900 kay ang YTD performance ni Philequity fund inc is 23.89% as of Aug. 22, 2014.

Okay ang 5 yrs bro nga time horizon sa imo investment.

You may check and download the files from their website below. For the opening, they required the hard copy. So you need to send it here in the philippines. But once you already have an account, you can do now sending just soft copy. In funding your account, just deposit it in their bank account and send also a soft copy.

Reminder you should have TIN as this is one of the requirements in opening a mutual fund account. Mostly, ari masangit ako mga friend who worked/works in abroad. Ambot ngano wa man silay TIN.

    Philequity Management, Inc.

Bro, walay office si philequity here sa cebu. You may contact them directly(check lang ilaha site) or thru their brokers like IMG. Since naka open na man ka ug FAMi account, maka open ra pud ka ug Philequity bro kay pareho ra na sila ug mga requirements. By the way, unsay UMID bro?

Yup, once maka open na ka ug account, pwede na lang soft copy sa deposit slip ug investment form.
