It's interesting to see Manny's road from boxing , politics and now the PBA , wasn't too thrilled he missed the PBA draft combine as he had to tend to constituents in Sarangani , but it is what it is , we shall see how this madness unfolds , who knows he might prove us wrong or maybe not , if it happens to be the latter it will surely make a bit impact on how he is remembered locally as we are quick to judge.

I used to volunteer for a local MP in the area I used to live. People might think being a politician is always busy (they actually do) but not the kind of busy that they have to attend every party meetings, parliamentary proceedings, and etc. They do have secretaries: one that is always with them (usually CHIEF OF STAFF) and the other one stays at the constituent office receiving complaints and calling people back. On top of that, they do have another staff in their constituent office who take bookings for events and assess which invited events he/she should attend to. Then, whatever stuff that needs the MPs attention right away, they would have to call his/her COS about it. Also, if the politician is away for whatever reason, the COS will take the politician's place when there is a party meeting or whatever.

As for Pacquiao, I'm sure he might have those staff doing his work for him. He may have a staff that knows his stance on most issues so he/she can place a vote for him or his signature before that proposal get introduced in the Congress without having mentioning it to him when he's preparing for a fight.

What I'm wondering about Pacquiao though, how many constituent meetings he should've attended, invited events he should've attended, meetings he should've attended and etc when we know he's so busy being a boxer, pastor, actor, now PBA player. If he were a politician here in Canada, he would be kicked-out of the party if he missed a lot of party meetings - we have one politician here got kicked-out from her party just recently due to attendance.

Yup , being in so many things , doing too much isn't good for anyone. We shall see how this unfolds...
