ahhhh...
we better browse Nvidia.com
for their featured game per hardware release.
they always raise the bar.
bioshock is not that resource hungry. it runs fairly well on my rig which has x1900xt , core 2 duo e4300 @ 3.2GH and 4GB ddr2-800Originally Posted by butitoy

x1900xt is a generation old, e4300 is entry level core 2 -- that is not high end.. thats just mid-low high range. high end if that was 8800GTX and quad coreOriginally Posted by rj325

i'm going to check the link about these reviews.
i'll post it here as soon as i found iit again.
The first card that will be available from AMD is HD2900XT, promised for around the end of May. It was benchmarked at DailyTech. It looks like it's a bit better than the 8800 GTS 640 MB, when overclocked, but still nowhere near the 8800 GTX. Kind of unfair, in fact, since I can overclock the 8800 GTS too and it comes up on top again(between ati and 8800gts 320mb).
The HD2900XTX is the bigger brother of the XT
assasin's creed or crysis.
Doom 3 - is not heavy as hell. I get good framerates with my p4 3.0 and a geforce 4 videocard. high settings and in 1024x768, its one hell of a gaming nightmare. Pero I have to reconsider, the game engine(doom 3 engine) only supports 4 players at the same time at multiplayer. im pretty sure if you force it to go over 4 players it would hang as hell.
F.E.A.R. - i say this one is not much. i think the lighting is what makes it heavy.
Farcry - of course, its CryEngine 1 right? moar graphics, moar physics, you name it.
Bioshock - is mediocre. unreal engine 2.5 means 1/3 of gears of war(uses unreal engine 3.0) which is also a resource hog. pero unreal engine uses lots of third party engines like physx, bink, etc. unreal engine 2.5 is a heavily modified engine pero wala kaayoy addons.
Pero one thing is certain, Crysis wins the round. Either DX9 or DX10, it is heavy. Its the physics engine that makes it heavy. Put lots of object with lots of chaos in it and you're lagging as hell.
