Am not much of a cook but i doo cook once in awhile(much to the desdain of my housmates jejeje). Got this from experience, mostly based on my taste and how i want things.
1. When making chopsuey, i dont mix the veggies but instead make the "sauce" first. This keeps the dish from tasting too veggie like. I just stir fry the veggies or gisa for a hint of attitude then just pour untop the sauce. I make it also a point to add lil cornstarch to give the sauce body and make em stick to the veggies.
