Maltese or Shih Tzu?

Hi istoryans! Im planning to get my first puppy and im so excited! but im caught between maltese and shih tzu. Ive decided to get a maltese puppy because of their hair nga white kaau and cute kay mas smaller sila than a shih tzu and i like smaller dogs. Plus single coat ra kuno sila so dili sila mo smell like most dogs. But both shih tzu and maltese shed less compared to other breeds. But ive seen a lot of shih tzu nga nindot sad especially the snub nose, Ang hair sad nila kay straight kaau if ipataas kay some maltese akong na noticed kay murag wavy hair inig taas. Also murag round ilang body so cute tan-awn compared sa maltese nga gamay jud murag skinny kaau.
Im confuse any suggestion unsay mas nindot? MALTESE OR SHIH TZU?

Thanks misay! And how was the grooming? Gi pa taas nimo iyang hair like the show dogs or puppy cut lang.

bisan asa sa 2 basta i love lang nimo. naa uban owner mo buhi ug cute para lang pang hambog. owned dachshund diay

Thank you jntio! I agree with you, if love na nimo imong dog di na mo matter if cute or dili hehe..but libog lang jud asa akong paliton. I can only have one..

I owned a shih tzu d i..so murag bias ni xa..but same ta before, torn between the 2breeds, i chose shih tzu though kay less yappy. Barker man gud ang maltese. Be ready gyud og sudlay everyday kung ganahan ka og pataas else imo xa ipacut.

lingaw ug personality ang shih tzu pero gahi ni silag ulo.. magtuman sa gusto.. pero lingaw.. wa pa ko kita ug maltese hehehe.. pero i hope naa ka daghan time for the maintenance of the coat.. kay mag bubod jud na ug mapasagdaan.. and ang maltese all white, basin hugaw kau tan-awn ug di ma maintain ang coat

thanks jayzxes and dom-cin you're both helpful. Yes ganahan kog mga long hair nga dogs especially mag sudlay2x, mag butang ug bows and stuff like that so wala koy problem sa pag maintain sa hair nila. ang white hair nuon sa maltese nag worry ko kay basin di na jud sya ma pure white if cge ma buling.
Lisod sad ko pangita ug pure maltese dri sa cebu, ang shih tzu daghan.
