It was clear the robber had genuine faith in JEsus, and in turn he said, "Today, you will be with me in paradise.".

By ourselves we cannot do good works. It is the work of the Holy Spirit dwelling in us that we are able to do all these things.

    Just my own two sentimos.
nice thoughts, really... u've extended it quite well..

but my take on this.. i think the Holy Spirit is only there to inspire us. Because Jesus Christ also said that whoever mocks the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven (i think mao ni ang unforgivable sin). So even if the Holy Spirit comes to us, and tries to dwell in us, its still possible that we would reject it. so, i still think its up to us to continue on. its starts with faith, but it doesn't end there only. as for the robber in calvary, the fact that he accepted the death sentence already means he is changing within himself. he had faith, but it didn't stop there. he also began to accept the consequences of his crime. he resigned in humility. lisod man gud nang faith "alone", because it can be abused severely. example, magrobber pud ko, and i will keep on robbing and robbing, and on my deathbed, i will just profess faith and i will immediately be good? that's quite unfair and very proud and arrogant.

In all the cases that Jesus Christ healed the persons in miracles, iyang isulti jud noh kay "your faith has healed you." ngano "your faith" man? why not "the faith"? kung "your" gud, it becomes a personal action/responsibility. kung "the faith", then it becomes an external stimulus, and we are but just reactants, never really conscious or responsible for what we are doing. just my thoughts also..

I just want to share regarding sa ako nadungog nga Homily sa pare sa amo parokya just last Sunday.

Natagaan ug approved VISA bro with only two questions asked.

Btw, the 2nd question was regarding kung unsay buhaton niya sa US. Wa kaayo ko kaklaro sa tubag, but i think ni mention siya nga magsuroy suroy lang.
