I ordered a combo meal that comes with pork belly, rice and a bottled soda (Sparkle). I already finished my meal and on the last sip of my soda i noticed a hard tiny object on my tongue which i thought is a tiny pork's broken bone. it is sharp and its color is green. later did i find out that the mouthpiece of the bottle of soda is broken and that object that I found on my mouth is one of the broken pieces. i started to feel worried coz i might have sipped some of it and it could certainly ruin my stomach and other internal organs. so i called the supervisor and she had the waiter (who assisted me) explain why did it happen. when the waiter came in he took that tiny piece of broken bottle out of my hand and threw it away to appear like nothing has happened. the supervisor then called the owner asking what has to be done. they came up with letting me undergo an xray scan. however, they will only shoulder the cost if i will have the scan to be done in the hospital across their establishment which i can't do coz i live in lapu-lapu and i also have to go to work tomorrow. so they provided me with their phone number and advised to contact them IF i will feel something in my stomach. that's how easy they explained it. they didn't even apologize. it didn't come to their wealthy minds that this could mean my life. i know it's just an accident and this is a common incident in a restaurant but with how they responded to the situation it certainly sucks. they're not even afraid that this could shut them down if i report this to the authority. any idea where should report this to?*
good thing i had the supervisor affix her signature in a written agreement to certify the incident and that they fully are aware of it."
