a log jam at the PF spot. randle, boozer, hill, davis and kelly (if signed). but they can play small ball as well with randle/boozer/kelly at 4, hill/davis at 5.

great signing (boozer)? not really, but it certainly isn't a bad one either considering the price (3.25M).

now sign a defense oriented sf and we're good to go. any of these FAs:

i think they will have a chance to make it to the playoffs if they can sign a legitimate sf that plays defense and a legitimate center.

Personally , prior to the draft i thought we'd have a lousy season , and thought if we made a splash in Free Agency then maybe , and all went quiet , we acquired Lin , then Davis and now Boozer. At this point its clear the Lakers are looking ahead , whether it be in 2015 or 16 ... whatever the case , these signings will somewhat make us a decent team , while last year was just something to forget i'm seeing some light out of the tunnel. Lets just buckle up for a bumpy ride , still cheer our team on and hope for the best come next year.

Funny i've been hearing Bledsoe's name across the wire .... if Mitch pulls this , what a steal...

i agree with sir KE-25. won't be expecting a terrific season but i hope it will turn out to be a decent one. will also be expecting some transactions before the trade deadline.

Actually redemption numbers don't lie and u are right plus with the way defense was played last year , i was hoping anything but last year , lets hope these players wc we have now will have something to prove , Boozer who was booted out of Chicago , Lin who played second fiddle in Houston while everyone thought he would be the guy running point , Davis who everyone had high hopes ( toronto and Memphis ) , so on .... these guys have something to prove , lets hope they do , they owe it to the Lakers who is giving one last chance and the fans who will see these guys dawn purple and gold. I'm actually a tad excited to see how all this pans out , if we get a good wing with defense , who knows .... then again i really want 1-5 in the draft next season , choices ..
