I am not for or against fraternities/sororities initiation rituals as it is the respective organizations prerogative. I would like to know if you can shed some light if for example, what happens if an initiate dies during the initiation rites? Who will take responsibility? Who is accountable? The organization? The members who participated? Or is it the president of the organization? Will the family of the deceased initiate be compensated? Or is there a waiver absolving the organization from all liabilities?

Under the Anti-Hazing Law, the persons accountable are the ones around the time of the initiation. Particularly the Master Initiator. Also according to Sen. Ed Angara the entire fraternity will also be accountable. But on previous hazing cases, mostly its the members who participated. For compensation, it will be after the case is decided or judgement has been rendered its up to the Trial Court to decide it. Damage will be paid, Attorney's fees. Just like all decided cases.

Usa pud before ka mosulod kahibaw naman ka na naa jud nah.. sa frat pd na side, dapat PLAIN tanan member na mu initiate ( not under the influence of alcohol) and dapat ang neophyte sakto sa pahuway and sakto pud sa kaon.. kundisyon dapat. KUNG para ninyo VIOLENT kaayo ang hazing, daghan na unta patay karon or patay napud unta ko karon.

Goes out to both groups bai, If magpadala sila sa ka init sa sitwasyon. But i believe it will not happen kay nahitabo nani kato time sa BAR EXAMS BLAST. Akrho ang gpasanginlang but then APO diay ang suspect, Karon same lang ghapon pero lain ang suspect pud.

so, it's safe to say that it's a case to case basis ?? the higher ups should instill a strict code to the M.I. that in an event that he sees that the neophyte can't ( even if the neophyte says he still can ) go on, then the M.I. should stop.

maybe fraternities during our father's time were the best times of frats, but nowadays, it's nothing but a show of violence towards their rival frats.

and these two frats, akrho and tau, these people are insane, they beat and kill any member they see just becoz they're a member of the rival frat. this always happens during sinulog, ti's like these two frats prepare themselves for battle for that special day. it's sad really .....

Those were the Dark Day of fraternity wars bai.. maau gani wala na kaau gubot karon between rival fraternities. Hope it goes all the way....

I don't get why there are people joining GANGS masquerading as frats. I just want to post the Anti-Hazing Law in the Philippines just in case naa'y mga frat fret frit frot frut members here nga e justify ang hazing.
