As far as I know si Sir Malcolm, he is an explorer right and hunter right? Diba he mentions that he wants to seek on his son's body on Egypt and may seem to connected in finding Mina. And also his journey in Africa.

Kasagaran mga characters diri na series is quite adapted to some known famous characters. Asa kaha ni gi-reference si Ethan as per say na based sa finale preview, he will transform into werewolf? Grendel perhaps?

Grendel is more monster or giant. Not sure if Ethan is based on a character from any classic gothic novel or from the penny dreadfuls.

The priest wasn't there for exorcism or "ease Vanessa's possession" at all.
He was there for Extreme Unction/last rites.
That's what she said to Malcolm and to Vanessa as well.

Bit skeptical sa ako choice of words, bro. Ease possession from the scene where Ethan and Victor are in denial that Vanessa is possessed rather than she was just merely in dying for the sake cause of Sir Malcolm as medium to find Mina. They never though first hand na she was possessed but they are surprised of the secrets revealed to both Ethan and Victor.

The priest was the first to ran away from the room. Vanessa bite off the priest's cheek, attacked Malcolm then labay ni Victor out the door.

^^ Para nako si Brona ang fit for Victor's bride gift for Caliban. She is obviously dying than Vanessa itself. Ambot musugot ba si Ethan. He is inclined to girls that are suffering pain that might relate to his past. Mao nga gusto ko makakita sa backstory ni Ethan before siya naabot sa London.

For the priest, it was a mere conspiracy on my part. Wa pa ta kahibawo if kadtong wound will infect him much or basi'g tambalan ra siya ni Victor.

For sake cause, typo error na. I meant sick cause. Diba sa flashback, naglagot man siya ni Vanessa kay tungod nya, nawala si Mina sa iya. So I think he is just merely using her as a medium to find Mina and after that, she is useless to him. That's why Ethan is mad at him on his actions sa panghitabo in the room.

I don't think the priest was a con artist. he was summoned without knowing that he was to perform an exorcism.

Ethan using Brona's necklace to do the exorcism was so deus ex machina. Hahays.

nagkapatong patong na lang ang mysteries surrounding that Ethan guy. First few episodes exciting and very intriguing pa but mahuman na lang ang season 1 wala pa gihapon. Hay. If they don't give the big reveal next week, I'm ditching this show.
