In the science community that question is trivial., and will be a cause for you to be laughed at.. but we're no scientist here so it's best to discuss it in layman's term..
actually knang mga unggoy nga nakita nimo karon, we didn't really came from them, that's a common misconception, instead they are our distant cousins, genetically speaking.. their specie and our specie once shared a common ancestor, but due to environmental changes and any other reasons, our direct ancestors separated from that common group, hence we evolved differently and became what we are now, while them well you know what they look like.. diba kabantay ka nga daghan kaayo'g klase2 nga unggoy? that's because as a certain group separates, depending on certain factors like environment, their bodies adapt hence their genetic structure changes, thus their appearance changes.. and probably there are other thousands of hominid species that have gone extinct that we may never know of..
