it won't happen, unless there is a big flashpoint. And I mean BIG. pareha ra ni sa Cold War, it will be more on proxy wars rather than a real shooting war between them. When you start seeing sanctions between the two countries, then that's foreboding.

no conventional war will happen. just proxies and war on the internet which has already started and both countries have begun accusing each other of cyber attacks.

Pareha ani nga nag arms race

The world's biggest bomb - Tsar Bomba - YouTube

Imagine that in the hands of the terrorists. There's always a threat that something like this could happen. That's why counterterrorism is a MUST bahalag buslot2x pang bulsa sa pag maintain. Kay ug mahitabo gani ni ambot lang. Countries are too confined unsa nahitabo sa ilang nasod pero wala mag think sa bigger picture nga something like the Tsar bomb could explode at any moment. At what's worse is: That's 50 years ago. Imagine a modern day Tsar bomb. Possible kaha nga mapikas ang kalibutan literally?

Taken for granted raba jud kaayo ning mga news bahin aning mga nuclear disarmament kay most people don't care. They cared much about their personal lives.

    OnT:

Karon dili naman gubat or pahambogay ug gamit kay daugon naman ron sa economy. It's not a war between countries ron panahona kundi war between countries and terrorist network. The difference between a country and a terrorist is: YOU CAN REASON WITH A COUNTRY.

So in the end, mankind is the reason ngano ma end ang world. Destructive nature

honestly, I'd rather die by that kind of bomb than an attack with the use of nerve agents. At least with a direct thermonuclear explosion, death is instantaneous--if ma-apektahan ka ug nerve agent like sarin or VX, the duration may or may not be short--but it sure as hell is a terribly painful experience before death. But both weapons are scary nonetheless.

I dont think china is stupid to go to war with the US... US can blow china 30 times over... 7300 nukes vs 250...
On the other side of the coin, US will also not go to war for Pinas... We're pretty much on our own on this one which China is fully aware...

War (which i think there already is) are probably fought in the shadows... If not all, covert ops/ off books..
Too bad murag wala gyud na nauso dri pinas... But wont whine.. Saon tman...

but seriously, China can't afford to go to a major war now. Their export-based economy will simply collapse.

China is just flexing there muscles and military power. They won't go to war with the US since they know for a fact that it would deal a huge cost at their economy. I just hope that the Philipines will invest also more in military power rather than putting money in their own pockets but I guess as the late Pres. Manuel Quezon said "“I would rather have a country run like hell by Filipinos than a country run like heaven by the Americans". So here we are dwelling in hell.hahahahah
