i know what i am talking, ang nabuhat ra gyud ni kerr as GM sa PHX kay gipang trade ang original roster that made nash two time mvp as PHX player (boris diaw, rajah bell, marion). when kerr assumed as GM for PHX on 2007,the suns doesn't have any consistency in the playoffs (2008-1st round,2009-missed playoffs,2010-reached WCF), and then stepped down as SUNS gm. point is,if you are a good GM,you have to capitalize everything to make ur team a playoff contender even if you dont have the full resources. like ur beloved raptors? d ba? trading gay & bargnani but still made it to the playoffs, ayt? diskarte ra gyud na brader and also how can you spend money on quality players if there's a thing called salary cap,i'm sure ur aware about this stuff right?not unless ur mikhael prokhorov...BTW,off topic na au ta. kerr was named as GSW headcoach, maybe he'll do good this time as a coach. d ba @Iamalbertrebs

ONt: we'll pjax still have plenty of coaches to choose from. but there's 1 thing that's very impt. to settle 1st.

    Spoiler!
    MAKE MELO STAY IN NY

You thought "mao ra iya nabuhat" as GM by trading those players you've mentioned. Then, you really don't know what you're talking about. What you're doing is comparing the Colangelo's Phoenix Suns to Kerr's Phoenix Suns. Most, if not all, respected current or past GMs knows how important capitalize on making the team better. Colangelo had the opportunity to make some bold moves during his tenure as his dad owns the team anyway. While Kerr on the other hand, a neophyte on the position, had to be careful on making any moves by playing safe. It got him credit as much as criticisms.

Let's start off trading SHAWN MARION. Yes, he traded one of the players that made Nash as MVP. But things changed, Shawn Marion was becoming a cancer on the team by demanding a $60 mil contract and then later demanding a trade. Since he demanded a trade publicly, his trade value declined. Bisan unsa pa'y "diskarte" diha, you couldn't change the fact when a player demands a trade, it's usually difficult to trade him with an equal or more value. As a GM, he has to deal with the situation. He traded Marion along with Marcus Banks for Shaq. In theory, looking back in the day, it was the better deal. You may say it was a bad deal, but you can't criticize him for making a decision to trade a player that wants out of the team. I hope you are well knowledgeable on past NBA transactions, cuz most of the time, it's hard to get a good deal and an equal value of player/s from trades when your own player publicly demanded a trade (eg. Shawn Kemp, Vince Carter, Pau Gasol).

RAJA BELL was well-known as "Kobe stopper". BORIS DIAW was becoming a fan-favourite in PHX. Both was well-liked players by fans. Bell didn't live up to his potential and his constant injuries didn't help, and Diaw didn't develop the player Suns wanted him to be despite the fact he was the 2006 MIP. But trading them for J-Rich and Jared Dudley was something Kerr should be proud of. Both J-Rich and Dudley turned out to be top contributors on the team making it a great trade by the Suns.

Although they didn't make the playoffs the same season that Kerr traded Bell and Diaw, both apparently made Nash an MVP (both players' USG% on 2 seasons that Nash became MVP proves otherwise), Kerr found a gem on the 2008 NBA Draft (Brook Lopez and Goran Dragic). On Kerr's 3rd season as GM, he made a decision developing both of them along with Dudley for the future. Now, we wouldn't know how these three would've been like together.

As for the Suns didn't have the playoff consistency, first, it's universally acknowledged that Western Conference is a hard battle and NBA powerhouse teams are mostly from the West. Player injuries and coach changes were at fault (D'Antoni left for NYK, Terry Porter was not a good fit and got fired in the middle of the season, and his assistant Alvin Gentry took over) - I'm sure you can relate that on your Lakers, right? Common sense lang yan, pare. Same thing for the Suns, it's just they don't put its own players and coaches under the bus when things goes wrong.

I rest my case on why Kerr wasn't a "way au" as a GM. Managing a professional basketball team with a revenue of more than $100 mil per year is not as easy as any iStorya.net's armchair GMs would think nga diskarte ra kuno na.

@FAQ OT na au ta dri brader. relax lng gud, kerr is not connected to nY to discuss this matter on a knicks thread. i have nothin against kerr as a whole,my point is basin in a coaching job with GSW,he will flourished.but for me,i do still give him some credits on doing some tweaks with the PHX roster during his tenure on the said team, but not really quite enough.mao cguro he steps down as GM to save himself from the critics.
