    Default [Q]Oily liquid

Kana ra nga part ang nabasa so di jud to external ang source (like na tuslob or nabasa og oil).

I deduced na ni leak ang battery pero wa koy sure unsay itsura anang leaking na smartphone battery. Ako gipa inspect niya ang battery and wala man daw damage; no swelling, no dents, no openings, as in wa jud daw kunoy visible damage.

Ako siguro siya kuyogan sa Samsung Service Center ugma, pero I want to ask lang kay basin naa na nakasuway ani nga problem. I doubt gikan na sa insides sa phone, kay I don't think you'd put oil in a smartphone dba?

Maybe it could be because of the humidity? I don't know. Kinsa na naka try ani or can anyone give me some info on this phenomenon? Wala ko pics kay I wasn't there when na discover niya. I'll check it out tomorrow and post kog pics if I can login.

nag search na ko sa google and when you pair "smartphone" or "galaxy nexus" or even "smartphone battery" with "leak" ang makuha rajud nimo kay kanang mga leaks sa itsura sa device, iyang battery, specs, etc2.

    Thanks daan sa maka tabang!

Careful in handling leaks. The chemical that is contained in the battery is corrosive and irritant to skin.

not sure yet if it's a leak. like she said, walay damage ang batt itself. so not sure if leak ba jud. pero can't dismiss the possibility

Is it possible that a battery can leak without swelling or have any visible exterior damage? I just find it so weird. Unsa diay itsura anang fluid inside sa mga batt? Is it a clear, oily substance? Tanan pictures ako mkitan nga naay "leak" kay puros raman mga battery nga ning buto.

    EDIT:

Did a bit more searching, the liquid could most probably be the liquid electrolytes found inside Lithium-Ion batteries. Nakabasa ko somewhere nga the liquid inside batteries can leak when ang battery super na ka init and it begins to melt. Pero that doesn't coincide with the battery having no damage.

Need help of a battery-expert here.

There are cases of leaks due to material/quality issue, micro-cracks in the battery housing, insufficient seal during assembly, etc. Color, mainly depends on the chemistry of the battery. There is the rust brown; clear, viscous and oily; clear liquid; etc.
