^^ coz he badly wants to be in the playoffs. if lakers will somehow be able to form a playoff team next season then that would attract kevin love and other free agents as well. or if they can get a top 3 pick in the draft then there's a very big chance that kevin love will be a laker by trading their pick.

hope that lady luck will be in lakers side, mayta mka kuha cla ug higher pick than the 6 spot. This will likely dictate Lakers future moving forward. If mka kuha cla pick between 1-3 than a better future awaits but worst if they get a pick on the 9 spot.....L.A.'s percentage - 21.5 percent to move into the top three

^^ in addition to that, a center who plays defense on a consistent basis is a rare commodity these days. most of these big men are tied up with their respective teams and getting them to play with the lakers is highly unlikely.

Omer Asik - tough center that can play defense and banged bodies inside and rebounds pretty solid as well.

Asik would be nice but he has a bloated contract and not a free agent this year.
