our country is forced to input a higher margin because 1-mahal ang production cost nato and 2-kulang ug economies of scale tungod ang sales volume dili ana kadako. How many people will get a job producing 1 car, versus how many people will get a job selling an imported/surplus car? How many people are involved in the manufacture of a pair of shoes or a shirt, versus how many people are involved in the importation of shoes or shirt from China? Without enough employment, less people will have less jobs. With less jobs, means less promotion potential because the business is small time.

Sakto jud ka, you will be considered an asset, ang companya mapugos ug sweldo sa imo ug taas. How many employee levels are there in a trading/importation business compared to a manufacturing based business.

The pinoy is hungry because there is less available employment. Increasing salary levels without a corresponding increase in productivity will mean the company you are in becomes less competitive. Eventually, they will be forced to retrench, and worse, close down. Then you have more people going hungry. These unions don't know what they are doing is the one causing philippines to be less competitive. They don't care, as long as they can squeeze everything they can without thinking about productivity. And what's so bad about it, when companies close down, some are still very hostile, as if they can provide jobs to those who lost their jobs. Remember, these unions are profit centers. For each and every member, they get a few pesos per month, add up the number of union members, that's a tidy sum. I for one know some union owners have their own private island, tanan gikan sa singot sa common pinoy worker. Unsay hago nila ana? Wala.

the economy of our country tungod ra jud sa usa ka factor: The price of oil. Everything is like domino then. Everything follows.
