CEBU - The bodies of two women were found floating in the sea off Sitio Malbog in the town of Alegria, Southern Cebu on Wednesday.
Alegria is 113 kilometers from Cebu City.
In a phone interview, PO1 Rolando Luage, desk officer of Alegria police station, said the first dead body was found at around 2:30 p.m. by fisherman Andres Glinogo.
The body was already in an advanced state of decomposition.
The woman was about 20 to 25 years old and 5 feet tall. She was wearing a blue blouse and skinny jeans, and had silver rings on her left ring finger and right middle finger.
At around 7 p.m., another woman's body was found floating near where the first body was discovered.
Her arms and legs were already gone.
The woman was about 5 feet tall and had fair complexion. She only had her underwear on.
Both bodies were brought to St. Anne Funeral Homes in the next town of Badian, Cebu.
Police are now coordinating with other units in Cebu and Negros Oriental to identify the bodies.
