Rotary Engine Expert Shops in Cebu... are there any?

hi fellow istoryans,

im not sure if this thread already exists but i would like to find out if there are any shops in Cebu that are experts on rotary engines...

i saw a lot of cars up for sale in luzon that are RWDs with rotary engines which are cheap (RX7s, RX8s and etal) given its condition and rareness and im thinking of getting one... but the question that comes as a priority is if sonething bugs down on the engine, is there somewhere that i can go to which is totally knowledgeable with these engine types...

@TS If you really want it, buy it. Ikaw mismo ang mechanic. Call it your hobby. Pero mostly bilin ra sa balay or fun run days lang mogawas. Ang JT wheels naay RX-7 FC white I don't know kung naa pa.

Kung ako ang naa sa imo lugar, mokuha ko RX-7 FD kay rare gyud na ang rotary. That's me.

I saw a black rx7 in DAJ Autoshop.. ni andar manto, dont know pero wala mn gpadagan..I believe it needs total make over sa body...

Unless you have the technology and knowledge on doing a "rebuild" at a certain point, then I would caution you on that endeavour.

Sa akong lugar gani rn (overseas) nga ubay2x ang mga rotary specialists, wala jud kaayo mukuha aning FD or FC unless kung naa jud sila knowledge unsaon pagmaintain sa mga TT FDs etc (enthusiasts).. "or" kung Pinoy ka nga ignorante nya nikuha lang kag RX8 kay abi nimo nindut kaau nga sportscar.. but in the end, ila ra japon i.baligya balik kay di nila matake ang maintenance sa rotaries (oil leaks, rebuilds, etc.)... non-turbo pa gani nang rx8.

That's why I've sticked with straight 6 for my recreational vehicle.

I also like this idea TS pero gusto ko RX8 gyud puslan man mag rotary ko.....

Try group B motorworks. They used to have mazda race cars nga rotary engines kadto cge pa ang legal drag racing sa cebu.

thanks sa input mga paps... mao sad na ako huna2... mao nang hesitant kaayu ko kay mismo sa gawas, daghan post sa forums nga lisud jud maintenance aning rotaries...

but you cant help but fall in love with these babies... rx7 FD lang daan... hahay... naa gali rx7 baligya online wala kaabot 200k petot... padung give up na guro tong tag.iya atu...
