    but he take the Juniper certification exam and he Passed.
    that the only thing I can share of.

    gamay ra jud daw ang nakamao aning juniper not sure how true kay sa iya raman sab ko nakabalo.. hehehe

    r0mm3L, asa ka work nga company?Pwd pm lang nimo..Currently,nag evaluate ko ug products for network security...This topic helps,though naa na me firewal(netscreen with IDS) but we want to secure the layer2-3.Di kaayo ko particular sa certification kay a lot of certified people na karon nga di maayo pag abot na sa actual scenario...

    IDS is an old technoloy, its more on a detection side (pasive)... IPS is the new technology for firewall (Intrusion prevention system) this is more on active side reacting to the treat not just detecting it.. most of the new firewalls now have this.
