can anyone here guide me on how to strart this popular sport? i may have my dads car, a honda civic 4dr with an engine i dont know. basta it has a mark 'vtec'. hoping that i would graduate high school this summer, i may get into this sport. my tito andrew told me that drag racing is risky - but thats the least of my concern. mas interested ko to find out if :

1.asa mga venue ani.
2. asa ta mag pa tune up sa car?
3. i know its expesive but can anybody suggest a very good mechanic?
4. i know how to drive but i need to learn how to 'stage'. kahibaw nako mu burn.

my tito andrew is into drag racing but he wont give me info on how to join kay delikado daw. simbaku ma disgrasya daw ko, lagot daw siya.

Are you really serious or are you just doing this for fun? Kung tinud-anay gyud ni imo and go against the best some day, better take you uncle's advice. Lisod na kaayo, kausa ra ang disgrasya. But if you'll just do it for fun, go for it. Just remember, safety first.

burnout?? i can tell that your still young,... i would say under 20 years old,...

drag racing or any kind of racing,.... is not just about driving,..... you gotta know about ur car,....your engine,.... how the engine works and more,.... theres more to it thn just driving,.....

i guess if your really rich,..... you can just give the shop 200,000 PHP and tell them that you want it to go really fast for the amount of money your ready to spend. not knowing anything and what there gonna do to the car.

when its done drive it and have fun,.....

but for car enthusiast we like to get our hands dirty and thats where the fun is at,.... driving the car after you've done some modification is like pleasure for us,.... with the right car and the right modification the feeling comes close to having ***,...

I will be 18 by end of this month.

I just need some influence to get tnto this sport. Frankly, i dont know anything about legal or illegal drag race.duh!

I can have my hands dirty tuning my dads car but i need to research more and i think my learning curve will drastically improve with someone as my coach.

Also, i dont have 200th to spend on racing parts. I think 200th is the cost of my dads car.

Influence peddler......anybody there?
