TRUE...And those proud chinese_fil must ONLY BE CALLED FILIPINO. Also, they must not just say no comment or stay neutral of the ongoing situation. firstly, they migrated here being a NEW CITIZEN as FILIPINO because they want to escape the horror they encountered in china before.

They can still be called Chinese-Filipino, just like how we can call Filipinos in America as Fil-Ams (citizen or not). It's just a term guys, you guys are putting too much emphasis on the "Chinese".

I have yet to see tsinoys support the Chinese on the ongoing dispute. If you guys really need a scapegoat for the hopelessness we are in against the Chinese, look to your leaders.

Medyo misleading title sa thread, ni-click sad hinuon ko sa link then found out about our deep Chinese ancestry. Just because we are of Chinese ancestry, doesn't mean they own us (if that's what most of us here are thinking). We are Filipinos at heart and this is still our country.

Does the Chinese own the Philippines? For now, no. But when the Chinese will invade the Philippines, since dili man ta or hadlok man ta mo sukol, then, yes, the Chinese will own the Philippines.

We lack the entrepreneur genes compared to those with Chinese ancestry.

I recommend the book Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki.
