@graphicare ah well... nka work nko s usa k company nga nag gamit ug sims and phones that are dedicated to outgoing recruitment texts only... ang HR personnel nga nka assign mu send s messages kay gi tagaan ug instruction to never reply though naa mn guro mga exceptions, like kng mu ask r ug directions padng s office or something. So I'm not really surprised nga wa kay nadawat nga tubag, most likely, ingn ana pd ni cla. I'm sure they read your letter and resume, but that doesn't mean they read the whole thing, most likely gi basa ra nila imong pangan ug contact details nya txt and tawag dayn. Unless pag tawag s HR ni sulti cya nga naa clay vacancy s job nga imo gi target. If wla cla ni hisgot, igo ra ni tawag pra set ug appointment, mahug ra cyag generic recruitment spiel, igo rka gi tawagan aron ma-abot ang quota s HR. Let it go nlng jd bro, kng gipakuha mn kag exam mao ra ghapn, ad2 ghapn k s agent position.

I think wala nila gibasa ang entire resume and application letter nimu. Imuha ra jd name and contact details ilang gikuha. Inana jd na basta BPO. Naka try pud ko, naka apply ko ug company na sikat pud sila sa IT field pero naa pud sila BPO. Nag JO na unta ko ato na company pero ni backout ko. Naa pa nila akong records and clear kaayo to na akong gi-applyan that time is software engineer na position kay nag exam na ko and series of interviews. Hibung lang ko after a few months naa sige call nako from that company kay ni apply daw ko for a support (BPO) position. Mao nai proof na dili jd na sila mubasa sa imung details, not even your history sa ilang company. Move on nalang ta.

Since it was not stated what positions are available or what they are looking for, I sent my application based on my capabilities, what i can do and what position I was aiming to be, and that is to be on their advertising department that caters advertisement artworks or to be in their recruitment team that needs visual expertise of a digital artist like me. Although I knew that BPO industries usually looking for call center agents, I decided to sell my expertise and explain in my Resume how can i help the company. I admit I was not so sure if they will call me for an interview, because maybe they are not looking for the position I am applying for, but to my surprise, the following day, someone texted me and told me I was scheduled for an interview. It was the BPO company i sent my application online. Wow, they need my expertise, as what I've told myself with great joy and excitement. They even called me to ask me if I can come tomorrow for an interview, aside from the text message they sent to inform me.

So the next day, i was in higher joy, preparing for an interview that will happen within hours away. I didn't watch Umagang kay Ganda, nor listen to DYHP's straight to the point radio segment for I am trying to focus my preparations for the coming interview. I arrived at their office on time and the guard told me to submit my Resume to him. The guard told me to wait on the waiting area. I sat for around 30 minutes with the other applicants, gladly joined and sparked some informative discussion with some female cutie job hunters when the guard called my name.

Guard: Sir: unsa kuno imo gi-applyan nangutana si Ma'am...
Me: Graphic Artist or Admin Staff for advertisement department.
Guard: Wala man kuno ana na hiring diri Sir.
Me: Wwwhhaat? Pero nitext man sila, nanawag pa gani pagkahapon mentioning my name and told me 'see you tomorrow'. Ug klaro sa akoa application letter ug Biodata akoa gisend what position akoa gusto!
Guard: Basta Sir, wala daw sila hiring na ing-ana!
Me: Akoa nalang na ibilin akoa application ha.
    Guard: Dad-a lang ni Sir.
Me: No, ibilin na nako para naa sila'y reference kung kinsay klaro ug kinsay dili.
    Guard: Sssiigee Sir.
(and i walked away from that building, visualizing like I am an X-men melting that building with my mere eye power) hehehe

What the f..(tttoooot) thing happening in here. I was being called for an interview and they will just tell me things like that?

Is a kind of ***** or idiot, senseless being handled my application? nagtext pa ang kanahaw, even called me without reading the content of my application letter and Biodata? I felt bad, I felt like I wasted my time for senseless appointment. Not even, one from the Recruitment Team of that BPO Company even have the guts to face me and show a simple gesture of apology, knowing I came there with lots of preparation and obviously will be resulted in a waste of my time. It's a total hassle and a feeling of awkwardness. I even saw some of the applicants from the waiting area looking at me like they were saying "naunsa diay na siya", or "hala molakaw lagi na siya wala giinterview"?

When I came home, I sent a text message their number and told them what happened. No one replied!

    Hastang lawgawa!!!

HAHAHAHHA bro move on.. maypa CSR nlng imong gi applayan dawat pa siguro ka, maayu naman ka mu english, paka paka lang gani na ohh..
