    They own a large chunk of the business sector and somehow clandestinely have that political influence,
    and of course thanks to the Filipino people who patronize their respective businesses.
    But they don't solely own the Philippines the Filipinos does including them as part of the citizenry.

    for me lang ni ha... i think it has nothing to do with chinese or filipino... naa raman tawn ni sa isag isag ka tao... naa ko sa china karon dugay dugay na... sus! perting daghana tapolan, hugawan, walay batasan and abusado PERO naa pod kugihan, limpyado, good manners and mangitahoron... same ra pod sa pilipino naa pod mga ing.ani na batasan... kani mga insik sa pinas na timingan lang mga kugihan kay sauna paet kaayu kahimgtang sa china mao na nanganhi ni sila sa pinas para mangita ug kaayuhan... mao n for me naa ra jud na sa isag isag ka tao...

    Yep it's true even before the spaniards came to the Philippines the Chinese were already here doing business&tll now they still own most of the business here in our country so technically we are owned by the Chinese LoL
