    If you follow this logic, the U.S. is owned by Europe because of their ancestry. I think in the end it comes down to what they identify as. Almost all Chinese-Filipinos I've known are Filipino first and foremost.

    Just because they have roots in China, doesn't mean they are Chinese nationals. The PRC does not recognize dual citizenship.

    If this is about race rather than nationality then surely the Spanish own Philippines. Not sure why so much focus is placed on ethnicity. Attacking people with Chinese ancestry is pointless, even ridiculous. They have no control over the CCP.

    exactly. Propagating sinophobic sentiments is not only divisive but also stupid. Right now, our country needs unity if it even hopes to surmount the insurmountable.
