@terma4a,
Do your own research, while forumers can help, remember, they have their own biases as well. Consider that and again, do your own research.
Kanang reliable sad.

since we have a true and certified dogman in junman777 to attest that woof chunx is not as bad as some here say it is... im waiting for other contrary opinion from a true dogman... and when i say true dog man that means the guy has years of experience raising dogs not just for household but for competitive stuff like dogshows, agility or the likes.
until that time, i would rather believe attestation based on truth and experience rather than hearsay.
Top dogs? Did they win in Field trials, Schutzhund, French Ring, other Protection sports, Sled dog race, weight pulling, etc.? Did they help search for survivors in an earth quake or typhoon, detect bombs and saved thousands of civilian and military lives, help in a drug bust operation, detected cancer? If that is just beauty pageants then I'm not convinced. You're entitled to think that way. Besides, I am more interested in overall health, performance and blood works over aesthetics and titles. If you can say that it helped bring "back to life" an emaciated, severely neglected dog, then I'd be convinced.
Regarding those friends of yours, one of them is ethnic Chinese from the Philippines. He runs a kennel and imports dogs at a really hefty price. He did not talk about about Woof Chunx in particular, but dog foods that contain added salt, in general. He just named Woof Chunx as one of those. I wanted to try it but he discouraged me since it contains added salt. Judging from the ingredients, I don't want to recommend it to others either. Now, I don't know if you want to feed corn, corn gluten meal, meat and bone meal, to your "Top dogs" of the country. If you do, that's your choice, but I just want people to be aware of what they feed their dogs and not just take plain advertising or endorsement to influence their decision. It's good if they make individual research. Saying this dog won this and that and he was fed, "Chicken Joy , Quarter pounder or Burger Steak" is not good enough. It's the same as advertising that Promil may turn your children into Einsteins or Mozarts.
One thing I really hate is this "Status Conscious" obsession in the Philippines, in particular, Cebu. By the way, I have nothing against the owner of Woof Chunx. I know she is a nice and humble person. My family knows her father infact. I bought several things from her and she has always been accomodating to answer questions, unlike the owner of Caminade who is "nevermind". Also, I am willing to give the Premium Woof Chunx a try, not because it was used by "Top Dogs". I want to see for myself the results. Those people I spoke to did not know that Premium Woof Chunx is different. I hope you'd be more open minded about this.
@Petronius: if given the opportunity, i am sure they will be happy to join such trials..but unfortunately such trials are uncommon here in the Philippines. but anyway, i am not only referring to beauty pageants as you call it..as their dogs are also trained in Schutzhund - a member of the Cebu Schutzhund Club. anyway, this would be too lengthy a discussion. its best you see these dogs for yourself and you are much welcome to. but for the purpose of sighting an example, let me just say that we had a Woof Chunx Maintenance Diet user - a pomeranian who was diagnosed with cancer when he was 8yrs old. vets recommendation was to put him to sleep already but the owners chose to give him a chance so he was treated, recovered and lived til he was 15 years old. This dog in particular was fed Woof Chunx Maintenance Diet all his life. (its up to you to believe this or not but this is only one of the many stories shared by Woof Chunx users, over the 20 years Woof Chunx has been in the market) - and over the years the product has improved and evolved to meet the demands of the current market.
We are very open minded sir this is an open discussion and you are much entitled to your opinion. but your first post here was kind of direct and accusing -- it would be nice for you to be open minded too so as not to directly attack a product that has its own merits. Please do give Woof Chunx Premium a try

I don't mean to offend anybody, but the Woofchunx I tried more than a decade ago, my dog did not like. Maybe the quality is better now. Some dogs like it. Anyway, ingon man sila na maayo kuno ang result sa WOof C. Permium. Mo palit unta ko pero huwat ko bago na stocks, kay July 2014 man ang expiry didto sa store. Naa pa ko 3 sacks of unopened Acana. Dili maapas kaon ang 50 lbs by July. Regarding My Pet Station, nice kaayo ila mga doggie beds, barato pa dyud. Ila mga German made products reasonably priced. Lisod lang parking.
