Textured or Texturized Vegetable Protein (TVP), also known as Textured Soy Protein (TSP) is a meat substitute made from defatted soy flour, a by-product of making soybean oil. It is quick to cook, high in protein, and low in fat.
Textured vegetable protein can be found in natural food stores and larger supermarkets, usually in the bulk section.

Personally, it sounds something like 'tofu' or the local 'tokwa'. Maybe if you ask for it in most supermarkets by using its more popular name 'veggiemeat'
Carageenan is actually a food additive derived from seaweeds (particularly E. Cottonii) that is used as a gelling agent in foods and cosmetics. You've heard of gelatin?
Actually carageenan is available in most supermarkets in Cebu, those near transparent wafer-like bars I forgot the local name for it... 'agar' yata or just 'gelatin'.
You could ask the local iStoryan Vegetarian Club members.

tvp ug meat processing naa dapit urgello
asa ne dapit sa urgello?
try sa Miller Hospital , adto lng sa ilang canteen, nkapalit mi anang TVP before, not sure if naa ng Carageenan though,.
Try Bob's Red Mill TVP if you want good quality. You can buy it sa Healthy Options sa Ayala or SM. One of the stalls found at BTC's Sunday market also sells this, I think they label it as 'soya meat'.
You can also ask Healthy Options if they sell Carrageenan.
