Default Light Speed explained using Minecraft

Most of us found Albert Einstein's theories to be very difficult to comprehend and we never bother to open up his topics again. Luckily, some dude craftily made a Minecraft video explaining the speed of light.

    here's the youtube vid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLffdgotHEA

There was an error in his analogy. If you were to travel from point A to point B at lightspeed (C), then your travel time would be instant no matter how far it is (even if point A and B are lightyears apart). It is all relative.

nope, that was instant actually. Maybe you are referring to the supersonic illustration. Watch it again bro, the light speed was presented first and then the supersonic speed for us to see the movement.

It wasn't instant. 1/5 of a second was used to travel at full C. Now, if it were the outside observer, that would make sense, but since Steve was the one travelling, the maker of the video did not put into account the effects of Special relativity.

Anyway, the door analogy is actually terrible. It implies that there's a friction that limits speed to a set, but it isn't how things work. In fact, If you were travelling through space at 0.9999C, then release a rock behind you, you can accelerate 0.9999C away from the rock.
Another Example-- Let's say you're having a race against photons in a vacuum. Photons travel at C, but you can only travel up to 0.99999C. Even though you know you'll lose, you'd expect it to be a close race, right? No, it won't even be a close race because the photons would always be travelling at lightspeed even from your perspective.

well, it depends on how you define instant. 5 sec is already instant to me and to some, 5 mins is.
but i have to agree nga ang door is terrible pero naa jud na friction bro in a slightest form pero negligible ra ky when you travel you consider other factors that may affect the speed and acceleration and it's friction/collision/gravity/etc.. matter meets another matter there's friction. wa ko'y source ani bro. stock knowledge ra og own opinion.
