You have a point regarding Phil Jackson but I think the Lakers still has a chance to get back to championship contention. With the right mix of quality players and the right coach. They don't need to form a Big Three to do it but it would be better if they can. George Karl and Lionel Hollins even Nate McMillan can do wonders.

If the Lakers are going to keep some of the players in the lineup aside from Kobe, they should keep Xavier Henry, Jordan Farmar and Jordan Hill. Swaggy P can be a good trade bait after his performance this season. As much as I would love Pau Gasol to stay, if trading him is what it takes for the Lakers to win another championship, then so be it.

Lol ataya di jud matago ang disappointment ni Kobe. Is it just me or everyone else forgot that this patchwork team was assembled just to get through this season? Para lang naay players who will represent the team. Personally, I'm not expecting anything big from this team at the start of the season pa lang. If makadaog, maayo. If sige ug kapilde, fine. It's expected. But somehow, this team was able to win some games and I don't have any idea how they did it

Kobe got another rest. Torn achilles is history. Same goes with Nash and Pau. The Lakers will go fishing for quality players and hopefully a better coach for next season. Brighter things are coming for this team.

the Lakers is a class organization, they deserve better than this. Kobe deserves better than this. I'm not a Lakers fan though. But the way things are now, especially with Phil signing with the Knicks, i doubt even if they can land Melo for next season's FA, so does with Lebron.
