One advice i can give to you... The golden rule of web design.
One must have passion. Passion is what drives you to become better. Without it, you'll lose interest and eventually give up.
anybody can be a web designer these days... but without passion, end up being a ripper or wannabe.

i learn html, then xhtml then javascript then php thenn phtoshop then css..!!
just download eBooks from I-net..! if wanna be like me just learn basic html then upgrade into xhtml, and
then after try to go beyond CSS and then php or jsp used as a script log-in user.. hehehe
