Help : My graphics card driver wont install

Mao ni ang storya

Naa koy Sony Vaio VGN-CS36GJ windows vista, naguba iyang fan so akong gi ayo. then akong gi format ang OS change to Win 7 Ultimate 32bit wala sya mudayon ug install jud sa windows ni bluescreen sya ang error kay 0x0000007B nvdlmkm.sys so akong gi try ang XP then same ang nahitabo blue screen sya so akong gibalik ug Windows Vista which is successfully installed. then ang problem kay daghan na ko na install nga driver sa graphics card NVIDIA 9300 M GS sometimes muingon sya nga successfully installed pero ako gitan-aw sa device manager exclamation ghapon then gi try nako windows update wala japon then gi try nako ang site sa sony mao lang japon. then ang screen niya naay dark yellow wierd lines like this


then gi try nako ug butang ang external monitor no moitor available daw. i hope dili ni video card. please help guys kung kinsa naka suway ani. thanks

Then there's no point installing all those Nvidia drivers if dili nimo matarong ug install ang chipset drivers.

use driver wiper app to remove traces of the that chipset drivers.
if at hand, use the chipset drivers that came with CD.
then install Intel then Nvidia.

naay blema na ur installer na win7 x64 or ur Nvidia Graghics Chipset lyle.

the windows win7 ulti x 64 should have had make it running as default since that Laptop was made for vista

and windows 7 was launched after that, meaning all its components were digitally signed for windows 7.

and naa koy laptop na HP DV6000 thats as old as that < centrino2 | intel P8400 on intel PM45 chipset family | 4GB DDR2 800 | Nvidia 8400GS >

and my friends Sony Vaio with almost same as you have << centrino2 | intel P8600 on intel PM45 chipset family | 4GB DDR2 800 | Nvidia 8400GS >

after i installed my win7 x64 < 48n1 : MSDN | OEM | Brand Edition >

Naka install ko ug chipset successfully then I restart it and okay sya then gi install nako ang graphics driver which I got it from sony site mismo then pag restart ni blue screen.

Try lang daw open balik ang laptop bro. suwayi lang og push ang iya video card. Nag display man gud sad og garbage mao naka ingon ko nga natarog.

Doh, mura naman og padung na mo RIP imong GPU. Sa DOS na ang 2nd screenshot diba? Wala paman na ga load og driver, so it's not a driver issue at all. Hardware na, try og reseat the GPU heatsink / card or change thermal paste and hope for the best.
