Thread: URBAN POOR?

  1. #1

    Default URBAN POOR?

I have observed nga ang URBAN POOR nga term is abused. Most people taking the lots are not poor enough. I think the name should be changed to URBAN RICH. Kalooy sa mga pobre ang mga datu ang nagpahimulos.....

    What do ya think?

Quite sadly, the urban poor contemplate of the squatters in Metro Manila. Some of them are really not that fortunate enough. For most of them however, they are the so-called professional squatters in the metropolis.

They will always go back to those slum areas. Yes, they have dilapidated houses of light materials, but they have complete appliance sets. They are composed of big families as if those parents could very well provide for their children the education they need. Sad to say, these parents don't even have jobs and they are not even looking for jobs.

Then they blame the government for their miseries. As if they are not responsible with any of the miseries they are experiencing.

mao na ang lisod kay mas ganahan man gud nang mga tawhana ug instant kwarta, kung manghatag ug socialized housing dili unta individual ownership kundi community ownership para dili gyud mabaligya
