Di pud diay dali mag calibrate and profile ug laptop, 1 hour and 5 minutes using dispcalGUI on linux with the laptop profile as starting setting. Hinoon, high quality ang profile nga ma produce ani nga pamaagi, 3 iterations. The more the iterations, the higher the quality produced. In linux using spyder4 express or any spyder4 device, walay gamit ang software that comes with the spyder4 device when using dispcalGUI and argyll (latest versions) pero ang options available is that of Elite or Pro level. Other than the ambient light sensor, spyder4 express have the same hardware specs to that of the more expensive version. Using dispcalGUI (which also works on Mac OS and MS Windows) one can save a lot by getting the spyder4 express device and still getting a high quality profile.
Natubag na akong pangutana kung unsa kalainan sa display with the color profile and without the color profile. Dako ang difference and on asus laptops taas ang blue content kung wala pa mag gamit sa maayong color profile. After ma load ang color profile, colors are rendered a lot better which will allow you to decide better when doing color/white balance correction. Mas pleasing ang rendering even when viewing videos. Highly recommended gyud diay ni nga pamaagi ang mag calibrate and profile sa computer display.
anyone tried importing mac color profile into windows 7/8/8.1? naay daghan mac namo diri sa office all are calibrated since used siya sa video editor..
depende raman tingali na sa monitor
Kinsay nagserbisyo ug calibration using calibration gadget like spyder? Magpacalibrate unta ko sa ako monitor. Bayad lang ko sa service fee.
Thanks everyone.
On the cheap... what I've done before is go to photo printing shop and have them print something similar to this with NO CORRECTION...
Then go home and try to adjust your monitor to match.
But best would be to use some form of color calibration in which there are two main methods...
One is to have your monitor calibrated with either a Spyder, Colormunki, or other device. If you can't afford you can find someone to hire to have the service done for you.
The other method is using a color target...
Even a simple grey card will do. So even through your monitor is not calibrated you can be sure that your images are correct as a computer workflow color corrects your images for you.
Best is a combination of the two... trust me... I've had clients who are so an@l about the color of their products I photograph.
Oh... and image viewing programs and even web browsers will show off colors differently... oh, joy!
