Hi folks... i'm a newbie to OS X. most of the people at home has windows. the problem is that I cannot copy files from mac to my external hard drive. I know that the external hard drive is formatted as NTFS while Mac only supports FAT32. is there a workaround to this? I'm having doubts on reformatting my external HD to FAT32 coz it's really not stable and has limitations as what I've read.

Another thing, I have VM firmware installed and runs Windows 7. Would anyone know how to access the internal HD of the mac from the windows OS?

As for your second question, you can set a shared folder inside your windows VM that is linked to a specific folder in your mac. This way, you can "bridge" your Mac HD and Windows VM without issues.

By the way, which one are you using? Parallels? VirtualBox? VMware Fusion?

I'll try to setup sharing folders. I actually installed tuxedo ntfs and ok na cya. I'm using VMware Fusion

2011 version nah? Tan aw nako, Lion ang original OS ana. Mo gamit jud ka ug installer (Lion/Mount.Lion/Maverick). Kay kung mag full restora ka, mangayo na ug apple account sa nag install sa OS, dili na apple account sa katong unang tag-iya. Sa kadto nang first install jud sa OS which lisod pangayoon. So mao to, pag secure lang ug installer sa, either download ka or kun naa kay kaila.
