Online Work-From-Home Position - New Zealand Tourism Industry

Are you a top quality graduate with native-level English, willing to work from home for a growing New Zealand tour operator?
Would you like to involved in arranging superb, high-end tours for international visitors to New Zealand with a fast-growing boutique firm?
This is a great opportunity for young, quick-learning university graduates with the ability to apply themselves to a wide range of support tasks. Full training will be provided, but you will need to be the type of person who:
- is very well organised, methodical person - able to maintain clear records of customer bookings and information in a transparent, easy accessible manner.
- has a keen eye for detail and is able to keep track of all the minor touches.
- is willing to take on unfamiliar tasks and learn new processes.
- not intimidated by large, sometimes complicated spreadsheets.
- is an open communicator of problems and challenges, willing to ask for assistance when needed.
- has a strong work ethic, able to exclusively apply yourself to this full-time role.
- has a service-centric attitude with a proven ability to anticipate needs and handle each situation with diplomacy and discretion.
- happy to speak directly with customers from all over the world.
You also will require:
- Ability to work from home, including good internet access. Skype contact will be required.
- Own computer and good reliable internet connection.
Please note:
- Tourism Industry experience is not required.

Types of tasks you must be willing to do and learn (you’ll be trained where required):
- Processing bookings for tour clients; hotels, flights, vehicles and other tour components. Maintaining records of the same.
- Putting together PDF itineraries and tour outlines for clients.
- Dealing with customer email inquiries.
- Filing receipts and invoices in our online accounting system (Xero).
- Various other ad hoc tasks as needed.
Willing to commit to:
- Full time, long-term commitment, 40 hours/5 days per week.
- Starting work early if required (6:30-7am, though you could finish earlier too).
- Putting in 8 hours a day of effective work time (breaks and flexibility are okay, but 8 hours of productive work each day are required, even if they are not continuous).
