few weeks ago, i heard the rumor (from a cdu teacher) that besides the unfortunate student who got raped in a taxi in reclamation, there was also another who was assaulted INSIDE the new cebu doctor's university in reclamation area. today, i heard that the student was paid off to be silent and to not sue the school.

so far, this has not been reported in the local papers dba? any other ppl there who can confirm or verify the credibility of this story?

if this is true..it just goes to show that students are very vulnerable IN and OUT of their universities, specially in this case sa cebu doc...

[color=navy]Not necessarily true. Rape is a criminal scenario which can be prevented if people would take precautions not to be be in a position to be victimized. Precautions like not travelling alone late in the night, not going to strange places with strangers, being with trustworthy people, being alert and aware of one's surroundings and taking action when the circumstances demand it...

Who raped the student in the campus? Why would be the school be held liable unless of course there is not enough security or it was a school employee who did the rape?

If you ask me, like clarkhent said, this must be rumor-mongering~ the product of certain individuals attempting to discredit CDU's reputation. If this is true, well the truth has a way of coming out.
