well i suppose them sea folks of old just got bored at sea and decided to take a trip up the surface. some liked it, became terrestrials. but majority didn't, so they remained at sea. nyahaha.

A: Impossible , If people would collect species, i think it is more reasonable to collect only the essential or important species for human survival. Population , Birth control , use condoms or dont have s3x at all.
