Sis, pahitch ko sa imong query. Interested sad ko ani nga school but for preschool.
Fellow IStoryans, please post any feedback about MMIS-Gorordo. How much pod ang tuition?
Salamat daan!
They are one of the good international school in Cebu also....
My kid is currently in kinder 1 in MMIS gorordo. So far I can say I am very happy with their training, the materials they use for teaching (montessori stuff) is very easy for kids to learn things. Usually ang homework sa kinder 1 kay every friday na ihatag so you really don't do homework on weekdays. Unless naa sila activity like magpresent sa class (show and tell) and mag prepare lang ka during the weekday. Tuition for preschool for this coming 2014-2015 is around 43k (If i remember it correctly). Sa grade school i forgot na. I'm moving my kid to talamban branch though kay we recently moved to consolacion man so mas duol. Manageable ra ang traffic inig pick up time sa kids. Makasalig rako sa mga guards didto kay mga abtik and tabangan nila ako anak to get in the car. I also like that I get text updates if walay school due to whatever. Hope this helps.
Akong daughter Pre-K karon sa MMIS-Gorordo, mag K1 this June. Sacred Heart Hijas unta namo siya coz mas duol sa amoa house in Banawa and dili na moagi ug traffic sa Escario. But dili pa dawaton akong daughter coz 3 1/2 pa siya last June, dapat daw 4 na ang bata pag start sa school year. So gi MMIS namo then itransfer lang unta namo sa Sacred Heart Hijas sa next school year. But sa 1 year sa akong daughter sa MMIS, she learned a lot of things na ma shock na lang mi pirmi sa house pag abot niya gikan school. Lessons na i think grade school na namo gi discuss before. Hahahaha. They have different Montessori materials na gikan pa sa US na dali ra maka sabot or maka learn ang bata sa lessons. Not only in academics, but pati sa day to day na chores. Like how to button shirts, tie shoelaces, etc.
44k na ang preschool for next school year. Ning increase from 42k last year. But mas barato gihapon compared to other schools. If i-full nimo ug bayad upon enrollment, you get a discount. So mas makatipid gihapon. Same ra man gud gihapon kay you have to pay at least half man cguro to upon enrollment tapos pay the other half before October. Hehehe. So mao to
Hi istoryans,
Maki hitch nalang pud ko. My girls are currently in USC North Campus and I am honestly dissapointed sa school specially when they implemented half day classes.
Now I want to transfer them there. Do you guys know how much ang tuition fee for first year high school and grade 2? Does it include books, uniforms, etc..? If not, how much sad ang add ons?
What are the payment methods/schedule for the entire school year?
Thanks again for your responses!
Hi MCRANNIE and high_heels,
As far as I know two lang jud ilang payment methods sa preschool sa MMIS. You can pay in full upon enrollment para naay discount. Or mag pay ka half upon enrollment and the other half before October. Pero I think they have other payment schemes for grade school and high school. Better call na lang their office to inquire for the payment schemes pati sa rates sad and add-ons/miscellaneous. Accommodating ra man sad na sila.
Tuition fees for preschool includes snacks na. But you have to pay additional for the books and uniforms. Ingana man sad cguro ang grade school and high school. For preschool, 2k+ among nabayaran for the uniform and books.
I checked this thread before so I guess I should contribute.
Recently inquired about their teaching method and they said it's purely traditional for grade school and a mix of traditional & Montessori for pre-school.
Hello Mommies and Poppies,
I've my kids enrolled here(grader and pre-school), last year and if I'm not mistaken, their tuition fee was about 47K and 45K respectively. Upon enrollment, 50% will be collected and the remaining 50% you have a choice of having a monthly installment or quarterly(4 terms). Ofcourse if you pay upfront of 100%, you'll have a discount of about 5-10% which is good if you have that amount as you can allocate to other school expenses(like books, uniforms...etc).
For this school year 2014-2015, both my kids will turn into graders and their tuition fee would cost about 50-51k(each) if I'm not mistaken..... and I'll still get them enrolled to this school
Overall feedback, a bit costly but for my kids learning experience, I'll swim into the bottom of the ocean to find a pot of gold har har....
All the best...
