Hmmm that Lenovo is slightly heavier but justifiable due to larger screen. Dili kaayo ko into laptops pero basing sa imong purpose, I would choose this. Same ra sila og graphics but this one has an i5 processor and an SSD. Not sure about the reliability ani nila pero depende ra gihapon siguro sa pag gamit. Need more inputs from laptop users.

Is it worth the price difference ba kuya? Asus is around 17-20k while the Lenovo is almost at 30k.
Also, i heard i could just install an SSD on the Asus

I second the motion raised by Echelnalf. Show us three choices you found in SM. Then, include the followign:

    - Model of the computer (Preferrably with specs)
    - Add-on's (i.e. Free printer, free husband, free house and lot LOL)
    - Price

Once we will have these details, then we will be more than happy to help you make up your mind.

And oh, I call my Girlfriend, which is my soon-to-be-Wife as BRAD. Hehehe so I am safe LOL

By the way, I would go for the Lenovo IdeaPad U310 Touch. It's configuration is way better than the Acer one. Though it might be heavier, but the point is - you are getting a much better configuration.

Just get a backpack for laptops to make up for the weight.

Haha okay but im seriously considering the Lenovo na, it has decent customer reviews from amazon and its slightly over budget but its okay. Let me know if you come across lightweight, fast ultrabooks in the future and come post it here for others to have as reference too thanks bud!

I'm in the market for a lightweight laptop too soon. Once I'd bump into a laptop that I'd purchase, I will also inform you, perhaps you might like it as well.
