Mas advisable nga gamiton ang coolant basta sakto nga coolant imo gamiton.. Simple way to determine the additives is the color.

    1. Green or Blue Green: Anti Freeze : in which not very much suitable for our region (APR: Asia Pacific Region) because we don't experience winter here.
    2. Pink or Red: ELC (Extended Life Coolant): this type of coolant suits our region since it has higher tolerance on heat that would basically remain its chemical composition even on high temperatures. Also it has longer life that would reach 3 years the most and just add the ELC additive to extend its life and make it 6 years prior replacing the coolant.

If you prefer to use water: Please take note to use the purified water and not the mineral water. Don't worry if you buy the water that is sold on streets because that is a purified water and not the mineralized one. Also you can use the rain water but be sure that it did not touch the steel roof.

This is how we keep safe the Caterpillar Machines....

Hope this little information helps you..

Ask lngko if naa moy idea asa maayo Radiator Shop sa south dapit within Talisay-Naga. kay ako ipa overhauled ako radiator.

    Thanks....

Dba ang mga brand new na sakyanan kay strictly pure coolant ra jud gamiton?

Sa akong cgeg read sa una, ang kanang radiator coolant maoy kinabuhi(lubricant) sa water pump ug uban pang parts sa radiator.

Coolant mixed with Distilled water para sure walay contamination sa laing chemicals to avoid rust.

Ang problema ani ron kay ang coolant other than toxic, naay coloring nga mo dukot pud overtime.

Dinhi sa atoa, ok ra nga di na mag sige pa gamit anang coolant products, clean water (distilled water or rain water) with some rust converter will do. The point of having a cooling system is to transfer the heat out from the engine kay nagpuot na. Kung ang water coolant solution nimo dili efficient mo transfer ug kainit, not value for your money plus makadaot pa gyud sa environment ang usual gigamit nga materials aning mga coolant solution.

Walay sikat nga brand sa coolant or coolant mixture product maka maintain nga di motaya ang head gasket, mao nay problema nga makakita gihapon mo ug taya or mo brown ang tubig sa radiator. It's not the radiator ang mitaya, it is your head gasket and for iron engine block, maapil pud na makan-an ug taya. Kung solbaron ni nato ang problema sa taya - no more engine overhauling due to blown head gasket. Unsay solution ani ug unsay maayong pamaagi? Use a solution that will prevent the formation of rust and if ever naa nay rust, it should be converted into a much stable form (di na mokatag pa) - mao nay trabaho sa rust converter solution. Ang good effect pa gyud ani nga pamaagi, mag improve ang efficiency sa heat transfer since good conductor imong gigamit nga liquid and it will maintain a clean passage sa water sa imong cooling system. Lisod kaayo ni ma implement nga pamaagi kung sirado pa gihapon ang imong panghunahuna. It is time nga mo sugod na 'ta ug hunahuna aron di na mag sige ug balik ang the same nga problema.

Akong gi buhat sa una, pure distilled water, after few months basta makabantay gani ko ug mga rust sa reservoir or sa radiator, kay ako e drain/flush then butang ug new distilled water. Okay raman sad hinuon akong temp ^_^

@vernie kanang rust converter nga gimention nimo mao ba na ang ginagamit sa mga trusses? Or naa sad specific for radiator?
Also if mgdrain ko sako radiator if mgbutang nko ug coolant kailangan ba nka andar ang engine?
