Ipad air is too big for me whiile travelling and carrying a laptop.
Ipad mini plus laptop is good for travelling.
Haven't bought nexus but soon.

When I tested it, it was hard to use because the resolution is high but the screen is small so icons, etc are tiny and you really need the stylus to use if effectively with all those small icons, etc.
Apps like excel, word are hard to use without a keyboard and mouse so I prefer a real laptop. You can buy the surface keyboard but its too expensive but doesn't feel good for typing.
